A few moments from Simona’s time at Classical Rio A few moments from Simona’s time at Classical Rio 2026 in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. 🇧🇷✨

It was a wonderful opportunity to be part of this important gathering of the Classical Pilates community, bringing together teachers and practitioners from around the world to learn, share, and continue deepening their understanding of the method.

Simona had the honor of teaching an Archival Cadillac Workshop, exploring the original work and sharing her knowledge and experience with the Pilates community in Brasil. 🤍

She also had the opportunity to lead a Mat class for more than 400 participants, bringing the work to a room filled with teachers and practitioners from across Brasil and beyond. ✨

We’re so proud to see Simona continuing to share the work she has dedicated so much of her life to, and to see The Art of Control represented on an international stage.

Thank you to the Classical Rio team for creating such a beautiful space for learning, connection, and the preservation of Classical Pilates.

More from Simona’s time in Rio coming soon! 👀

Obrigada, Rio! 🇧🇷🤍

✨ And just like that, our 2026 Summer Intensive co ✨ And just like that, our 2026 Summer Intensive comes to an end! ✨

What an incredible few weeks of learning, practicing, refining, and deepening our understanding of the Classical Pilates method.

To our apprentices: thank you for your commitment, dedication, and willingness to continue learning and doing the work. Some of you traveled to be here in the studio, while others joined us online from across the world, sometimes staying up late or waking up early just to observe, learn, and be part of the training. 🌎✨

Your dedication, curiosity, and passion for the work have been truly inspiring. 🤍

A special thank you to Cristina for guiding our apprentices through the first weekend of the Intensive, and to Simona for sharing her knowledge, experience, and passion throughout this journey.

And of course, a huge thank you to Kristen for guiding our students throughout the year and for doing such a wonderful job leading this final weekend. 🤍

We are so proud of the work this group has put in and excited to see how they continue to grow, learn, and deepen their understanding of the method.

This may be the end of the Summer Intensive, but it’s certainly not the end of the journey. ✨

And, of course, no Intensive would be complete without a little chin chin! 🥂

Here’s to the work, the learning, the dedication, and everything still to come. 🤍

Why the Cadillac?✨ At first glance, the Cadillac Why the Cadillac?✨

At first glance, the Cadillac may look intimidating.

In reality, it’s one of the most versatile pieces of equipment in the Classical Pilates system.

Designed by Joseph Pilates, the Cadillac helps develop strength, control, mobility, and precision through a wide variety of movements.

Its springs provide both assistance and resistance, offering continuous feedback that helps the body move with greater awareness and efficiency.

Whether you’re new to Pilates or refining advanced work, the Cadillac meets you where you are and continues to challenge you as you progress.

Like every piece of Classical Pilates equipment, it’s not simply a collection of exercises—it’s part of a complete system, with each movement building upon the next.

The Cadillac doesn’t just strengthen the body. It teaches the body how to move.🤍

Have you ever worked on the Cadillac? We’d love to hear your favorite exercise—or one you’ve always wanted to try! ✨

Day two of our second weekend of the 2026 Summer I Day two of our second weekend of the 2026 Summer Intensive. ✨

A deeper dive into the Intermediate Reformer and the Classical Pilates system.

In Classical Pilates, the exercises are not meant to stand alone. Each movement has a purpose within the larger system, building on what came before and preparing the body for what comes next.

Our apprentices spent the day practicing, refining, and exploring those connections under the guidance of Master Teacher Simona Cipriani. 🤍

The work is in the details—and in understanding how it all comes together.

Your body is always listening✨ Every repetition s Your body is always listening✨

Every repetition sends a message to your body.

Whether you move with intention or simply go through the motions, your nervous system is constantly learning.

This is why, in Classical Pilates, we emphasize quality over quantity. Each repetition is an opportunity to build better movement patterns, improve coordination, and develop greater body awareness.

Over time, these patterns become more natural—not because you’ve memorized the exercise, but because your body has learned a more efficient way to move.

The body remembers what you practice.

So make every repetition worth remembering. 🤍

Have you ever noticed an everyday movement become easier after practicing Pilates? We’d love to hear about your experience below. ✨

At The Art of Control, we teach the traditional method through private sessions and group classes, allowing students to experience the work as an interconnected practice. 🤍

Pilates is about more than building strength.

Through control, precision, concentration, breath, and flow, the method develops a deeper awareness of how the whole body moves and works together.

The power of precision✨ In Classical Pilates, eve The power of precision✨

In Classical Pilates, every movement has a purpose.

The placement of your hands.

The position of your feet.

The direction of your gaze.

Even the way you breathe.

These details aren’t about perfection—they’re about intention.

Precision teaches the body to move more efficiently, helping you develop better coordination, balance, and control over time.

When we pay attention to the details, we create movement that is both strong and intelligent.

Because in Pilates, it’s often the smallest adjustments that make the biggest difference. 🤍

What’s one small correction that completely changed the way you experienced an exercise? We’d love to hear below. ✨

The body learns through repetition.✨ In Classical The body learns through repetition.✨

In Classical Pilates, we return to many of the same exercises again and again, but repetition doesn’t mean simply going through the motions.

Each time you revisit an exercise, there is an opportunity to understand it differently.

You may notice a new connection.

Find more control.

Use less unnecessary tension.

Or discover a detail you weren’t ready to feel before.

The exercises may be familiar, but your experience of them continues to evolve.

This is why repetition is such an important part of the method. We don’t repeat simply to do more, we repeat to refine.

Over time, what once required tremendous concentration begins to feel more organized, connected, and natural.

The exercise hasn’t changed. You have.🤍

Have you ever returned to a familiar Pilates exercise and suddenly understood it in a completely new way? ✨

Every exercise has a purpose.✨ In Classical Pilat Every exercise has a purpose.✨

In Classical Pilates, no movement exists in isolation.

Each exercise is carefully placed within the order of the method, preparing the body for what comes next while reinforcing skills developed in the exercises before it.

Every movement has an intention.

Some build strength.

Some improve mobility.

Some challenge balance, coordination, or control.

Together, they create a complete system designed to help the body move more efficiently as a whole.

When you understand the purpose behind an exercise, you begin to appreciate not just what you’re doing—but why you’re doing it.

What exercise has taught you the most about your body? We’d love to hear your experience below. 🤍
